Join the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers for a recreation of Mr. Fezziwig’s ball from A Christmas Carol. Learn historically accurate dancing, enjoy marvelous period music played live, and indulge in delicious refreshments in a festive ballroom.

Please wear costume from the lifetime of Charles Dickens (1812 to 1871) or modern formal wear. All dances will be taught and highly participatory.

Tickets to our balls are non-refundable but they are transferable. If your plans change, and you have a friend who is interested, they may attend in your place. If the state of Massachusetts or the city of Salem declare a snow emergency on the day of the ball, we will cancel the event and refund everyone’s money.
