It is with tremendous sadness that The Commonwealth Vintage Dancers announce the death of our
esteemed
co-director
Patri J. Pugliese
on Sunday, February 11, 2007.
A memorial service took place June 9, 2007 at
at the Higgins Armory Museum.
|
To say that he will be sorely missed is an understatement.
As many of you know, Patri courageously
battled cancer for most of 2006.
For almost 25 years, Patri generously shared his love and knowledge of historical dance with CVD, as
well as the dance and reenacting communities at large. His classes have introduced hundreds of people to
the joys of vintage dance. His expectations for excellence have made us all better dancers than we would
have been otherwise.
