Join the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers for an evening of hot dancing (and cool air conditioning), celebrating the summer in patriotic style!

Summery refreshments will be served, including lemonade punch, classic American cookies, fruit and light snacks.
Dancing will include a patriotic grand march, many one-steps, tangos,and charlestons, and some classic contradances. Dances will be taught during the evening – no experience is necessary, and no partner is required.
Suggested costume: Evening dress or summer clothing from the early 20th century or modern evening dress. Ragtime and Jazz Age clothes are especially appropriate.
The hall is air conditioned, so if the weather is steamy, we’ll still be cool.
