Calling all flappers and dandies, the date is set! Mark your calendars for January 12, 2019. This year’s Great Gatsby Ball will be bigger and better than ever, as we move to the Fairmont Copley Plaza in downtown Boston. Stunning 1912 architecture will make the perfect backdrop for mad dancing and gorgeous photos. A huge wood dance floor will be all ours as we take over the Versailles-inspired main ballroom. Strut your way down “Peacock Alley,” as the glittering main entrance was known in the 1920s, and party like Jay Gatsby is watching!

As in previous years, there will be simple dance lessons throughout the night, and expert performances to inspire new dancers. Live music from the Wolverine Jazz Band will have everyone dancing the night away. New this year, tickets include hors d’oeuvres to go with the cash bar. New VIP tickets grant access to the balcony, so you can do your best Gatsby impression looking benevolently down at the wild party below. It’s gonna be a ball!

The Great Gatsby Ball will include:

A dance class introducing the most popular dances of the era, suitable for any level of experience
Live music you can really cut a rug to
Games, amusements, and performances that will be the bee’s knees
Delicious hors d’oeuvres to keep up your energy for more dancing
A cash bar to get you in the partying spirit (shhh, don’t tell the authorities)

VIP tickets will include:

Access to the ballroom balcony with tables and chairs, a cash bar, and the same delicious food served on the dance floor,
but in more exclusive surroundings.
